Guy de Malherbe

Guy de Malherbe was born in Paris, France in 1958. He lives and works in Paris. His most well-known works are produced in oil on woodwork scraps, and oil on paper collages. Many of his paintings depict a delicate intimacy ranging from weeping flowers to more somber human subjects. He has been awarded the prestigious Prix Saint-Germain-des-Prés in 2001, and earlier, the Prix de l’Académie du Maine in 1986.
